Does Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream absorb easily, without leaving a greasy residue?
Yes, Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream does absorb very easily into the skin. It was important for us to ensure we formulated an easily absorbed blend, one that does not leave the hands greasy or oily. The fast absorption of the Softening Hand Cream is testament to the high quality ingredients in this product; they penetrate deeply for the best possible efficacy.
What is the difference between Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream and others on the market?
We have carefully blended the best ingredients for fast absorbing hydration without any greasy residue.
We have also infused our exclusive Kanapa™ blend into the product. Our signature anti-wrinkle ingredient is unique to Kanapa™ skincare and clinically proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. For the clinical result of Kanapa™ blend, click here.
Why should I use a hand cream?
Applying moisturizer after cleansing or washing the face is a normal and logical part of most people's beauty routine, yet we wash our hands many times each day, without much thought to moisturizing our hands as well. As a result, our hands are left defenseless to the effects of the environment and are often the first places to show signs of aging. Using a hand cream is especially important for the tops of your hands where the skin is much thinner and has fewer sebaceous glands, causing them to become dry very quickly. The top of the hands also receives frequent sun exposure, contributing to the drying effects. Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream, containing an array of naturally based ingredients, helps to provide deep hydration and protection to the delicate skin of the hands.
Can I use Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream on my face or body?
You may use Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream on the body, but it is not specifically designed for this and greater results will be experienced from using our Replenishing Body Lotion. It would also be more economical. Comparatively, we would not suggest using the Softening Hand Cream on the face as it does not contain some of the ingredients specific to our facial products that help care for facial skin which is thinner and more delicate than that of the hands.
How do I use Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream?
Kanapa™ Softening Hand Cream protects and rejuvenates while visibly reducing irritation and redness, leaving the skin replenished and softer to touch. Apply to hands morning and night and throughout the day as often as desired.
What is the shelf life of your products?
We have a significant number of antioxidants in our skincare, and as we are careful to prevent oxidation of these potent ingredients, we have chosen to package these products in tubes. This prevents excessive exposure of the product to air. Our skin care products have a shelf life of two years from manufacture date and we recommend storing them in a cool dry place.
Is it okay to use to my skincare if it has been frozen during transit?
Yes, it will be fine to use the product. Please do not open the tube, leave them in a place to gradually thaw at room temperature. Once thawed shake the tube as best as possible to mix the ingredients that could have separated slightly while frozen.
Please do not apply heat to the products, do not place them in a microwave or cover in boiling water. They are best left to slowly thaw at room temperature so as to protect the active ingredients.
Which ingredients do you source directly from New Zealand?
A number of our key ingredients are sourced from New Zealand. These include Manuka Honey, Kiwifruit Extract, and New Zealand Harakeke Oil and Mamaku Extract in our unique Kanapa™ blend.
Why are topical Omegas so important to include in Kanapa™ skincare?
Omega oils provide essential building blocks for youthful, healthy-looking skin. They strengthen the skin’s vital lipid barrier and re-energize skin cell activity to improve moisture levels, support overall skin health and help you resist premature aging.
What is your Kanapa™ blend used in your skincare range?
Kanapa is a Maori (native New Zealand) word for 'bright' or 'glow' and we believe our signature blend provides ingredients to allow your skin to do just that. It is a unique blend of eight plant-based ingredients designed to support the skin's natural ability to repair itself and help you maintain skin with a youthful glow and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Rich in replenishing oils and including omegas 3, 6 and 9, our unique Kanapa™ blend works to replenish, strengthen and protect the skin. This innovative, replenishing blend is your key to age-defying skin.
